Frequently Asked Questions
Everything You Need to Know About Kumbu Kumbu
Where are you located?
We are situated at Ikoma 13, in Seronera, the very center of the Serengeti, and at one of the best points with spectacular views and direct access to wildlife encounters.
What about mosquitoes and the risk of malaria or other diseases in the Serengeti?
The malaria risk in the Serengeti is quite low, but we still recommend using insect repellent. Our camp also provides mosquito nets at every room and carries out regular fumigations for added protection. For complete peace of mind, please consult your doctor before traveling.
What is included in KumbuKumbu Luxury Tented Camp rates?
Rates include a full board meal plan and activities for Families and Kids. It is not included a Safari package and Serengeti fees.
Can you accommodate special dietary needs (celiac, vegetarian, vegan, allergies)?
Our culinary team can handle various dietary requirements. Just let us know in advance, and we'll ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
Does the camp contribute to conservation and local community well-being? How do you ensure responsible tourism?
We strongly believe in sustainable tourism. Our Tented Camp was built in a way to reduce our environmental impact and protect wildlife.
Will I have the comforts I'm used to? How do electricity and hot water work in a tented camp?
We may be in the wild, but we offer comforts akin to a high-end hotel. We use solar power or silent generators for 24/7 electricity, hot showers, and private en-suite bathrooms. Our furnishings ensure maximum comfort without losing the safari essence.
Can we see animals from our room or any other spaces in the Tented Camp?
The magic of the African Savanna is that we cannot control the animals, but it is pretty common to be able to see them from your own room and the Dining Hall. Every year, the Great Migration pass in front the camp on their way to the Masai Mara.
Will I have free WiFi?
Guests staying in KumbuKumbu Kuxury Tented Camp have free WiFi in the common areas.
